Pours a hazy golden (uh?) with a small white head that leaves good lacing. Nose is of berries, currants I guess, lightly jammy. Taste is lightly vegetal and quite a bit puckering with a high level of citric acidity. More astringent currants. Body is light, carbonation moderate and mouthfeel is vinous/tannic. Pretty good if not just a tiny bit too acidic.

Bottle 750ml. Pours hazy salmon with low off-white head. Aroma is of fruits, raspberries. Taste is of fruits, raspberries, acidity. Palate: Light-medium body. Medium-high carbonation. Overall: Very nice stuff. Awesome fruits. Feels fresh.

Bottle (750 ml) at tasting. Shared by mathieuc, thanks! Clear orangey with a small white head leaving little lacing. Aroma is super perfumy to the point of being cloying along berries, grape juice and mild wood spiciness. Taste is of berries but find a way to be super perfumy as well. There’s grape juice again which gives the beer a kind of unpleasant juicy sweetness and mild spiciness from the oak. Medium body. Moderate carbonation. Grape juice finish. Way too perfumy. Hard to drink. Not my kind of beer at all.

pours hazy/cloudy bright golden orange with a small white cap, creamy lacing. blue cheese, berries - miscellaneous with their astringent/woodsy seeds; but also some citrus - clementines; spicy berry fruitiness. moderate carbonation, light body; firmly tart if not a bit puckering and fruity-spicy finish. cheesy and berry-fruity. o-k.

Bottle shared. Lightly hazy peach color with thin white head, quite fruity. Aroma is perfumy, grape juice, blueberry, very fruity. Taste is tart, fruity, old beer, very oxidized, wet paper. Meh.

Shared large bottle Pinkish, hazy body with a good head. Lightly sour and funky aroma. Tart and fruity flavor with cleat input from the black currants. Overall: very fine for style.

Everything these guys do is great. Subtle complexity. Great on the pallet.

Bottle at WTWBA 2015 in Minneapolis. Hazy pink pour, small white soapy head. Slightly tart, dark fruit - just okay for me.

Lukaduke (3011) - Gray, Maine, USA - MAR 1, 2015
Bottle thanks to Vasili ! Pours a slightly rosy golden color with a billowing white fizzy foam that takes some time to settle down. Nice layers of basement must, foggy morning grains, wet hay, blackberry, currant, slight cranberry acidity, tight tannins, aggressive champagne like carbonation makes it less chuggable but overall a beautiful beer with nice balance of fruit and funk !

750ml bottle shared thanks to Lukaduke! Pours hazy bright pink red with huge fluffy 3-4 finger head, tons of bubbles in glass. Nose is pretty subtle, not a ton there but has some nice candy grape and berry notes, soft tartness. Taste is very effervescent, prickly carbonation, medium-high acidity, candy grape, berry, blackberry, cherry. Finishes with some jolly rancher grape, cherry and medium lacto acidity, mostly dry some semi sweet berry notes. Simple sour but nice.
