COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed predominantly with organic 2- row, the malt bill is rounded out with organic light munich, organic 60L crystal and caravienna. Northwest Golding and Hallertauer hops provide a pleasant hop character. Right out of primary fermentation this beer is decidedly an American Pale Ale, but as it enters secondary, a bridge to Belgium is built with a dose of Brettanomyces Bruxellensis. A 5 week maturation results in slightly dry, fruity beer with a hint of floral Brett character that will evolve over time.

Bottle shared by tom10101, thanks! Pours a nice golden (huh? I was expecting red) with a thin white head that leaves great lacing. Nose offers some light tropical fruits and some acidic edges that provide a fresh impression. Brett makes itself known but it isn’t overwhelming. Taste is of brett, fruits and hay. The finish is bitter, the drink itself light and smooth. This was really nice and refreshing but it didn’t feel Flemish, not at all.

Bottle (750 ml). Thanks to Lurkaholic for this one! Hazy orange with a medium fully lasting beige head and good lacing. Aroma is of brettanomyces, herbal notes, mint, floral presence and some yeast. Taste is slightly sweet with brettanomyces, light tartness and fruits, floral/herbal notes and a moderate but sticky herbal bitterness finish. Medium body. Good carbonation. Very dry finish. Good Sour. Fresh and drinkable.
