Tasted on 6/26/13 from a capped 750mL bottle purchased at Beermongers. Pours hazy light orange with a very thick white head that slowly recedes to quite thick, even, and messy lace. The nose is very subdued, with a bit of bread malt, and just a hint of sour lemon. The flavor is much more sour with the malt taking a back seat, but not much more going on. The body is fairly light with just more than average carbonation and a long, sour finish.

750 from Blackwell’s. Orange ish body. The lacto I guess is giving off this distinct light peach taste. Tart all around. Quite tasty.

Yellowish clear pour from 22oz bottle. Sweet lemon and pepper aroma. A lot of bubbles. Dry bitter and almost like a champagne. Not sure what to think about this. Not bad tho

750 ml. bottle. It pours a clear golden color with a huge frothy off white head. The aroma has a lot of dusty yeast and some pepper. Maybe some hints of lemon. Not really funky, it has more of the dirt on the ground inside the farmhouse than the farmhouse itself, if that makes any sense. The flavor is very tart with lots of lemon rind, sour apricots and a little cheese. No yogurt-like lacto notes, which is what I was hoping for. There’s a hint of vinegar and some detectable leafy bitterness that doesn’t mesh well with the strong sourness and gives it a hint of leaky dumpster. The Saison qualities are pretty much lost underneath all the intense acid. If the sourness was more complex, It would be ok, but as it stands it’s pretty simple. Not a terrible beer, but not really my thing.

Flaske medbrakt av esp0r. Lys kobberfarge, noe uklar. Stor hvit skumtopp. Smaker korn, gjær samt noe hylleblomst og krydder. Ganske bra saison

Bottle... Pours hazy and yellow with a small, wispy, white head. Good retention. The aromatics here are subtle and tough to gather - grains, flora and soapy yeast. Medium to full-bodied with a skim-milk mouthfeel and airy carbonation. The flavor is sour, tangy, citrusy and a hint bready. Crisp, tart, tongue-numbing finish. Bottle courtesy of newcigarz!

750 ml bottle. Pours a clear copper color with a large white head. A sour clear lacto nose, fruit. Quite tart, lemons, fresh woody sourness. The hops add a zesty flavor. Very flavorful. Certainly an ode to Cascade and the PDX Lacto obsession.
