COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The refreshing wheat beers of Belgium are some of our favorite to drink. We’re planning on making a few different versions this summer, with the first being a traditional take on the style: coriander and orange peel. The coriander is a California grown variety that we picked up during the Craft Brewers Conference in San Diego.

Bottle. Light straw color with a bubble gum aroma. Pleasing light taste with a spicy aftertaste.

Bottle:   Dark dirty straw (towards the end of the bottle), moderate frothy white head, little lacing.   Soft yet muted floral notes, a little candied and toffee like orange peel/citrus.   Smells a bit different, but I like it!   Not as bright on the tongue, a little effervescent, straw, with faint floral and candied fruit bits.   The nose really tricks me into thinking there will be some toffee and candied citrus bits, but its a bit more muted and straw like.   Not as bright as I hoped.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Dull floral and citrus straw flavors on the exit.   A bit rustic... if that’s the right word.   Decent.

Bottle. Pale gold with a hint of haze. Short white head. Sticky sea foam lace. Pretty nose of coriander, light wheat, bubblegum, with a subtle earthy edge. Light sweet wheat flavor. Light body, solid carbonation, thin-creamy texture, and a refreshing lime dry, wit finish. Outstanding.

Tap @ Fifteenth Ave. Hophouse... Poured cloudy, vibrant, pastal-yellow with a thick, frothy, white head. Nose had yeast and spices. Bright tasting wit. Vanilla, malt sweetness, wheat, crackers, light fruits, floral, citrus, and a load of spicing. Clean, mild bitterness. Refreshing.
