COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This special batch of IPA is brewed using a blend of five of our most popular hops: Simcoe,Crystal, Centennial,Amarillo and Citra; all being grown in the Pacific NW United States. These hops are intensely aromatic, contributing aromas and flavors of pine, citrus, peaches and much more! While the hops are the showcase, this ale has a solid malt body with mild caramel and fruity flavors to help .

Growler thanks to blutt59 from back in 2010. The look is amber in color, clearish, and has a thin head. The smell is hops, pine, citrus, and good. The taste is a nice bitterness level, hops, citrus, and pine.

Handbottle from Tejas. Pours brilliant orange amber with a slight foamy white head. Aroma seems a mix of pine/citrus/tropical fruit. Med body/foamy carbonation. The flavor is mild roast malt backbone with a large amount of florality hops. Thereís arguably resin and citrus, but floral and fruit seems to hit the mark. What the English would brew, had they the b...., make that hops. Really enjoyable flavors. Goes just a bit astringent with time (rear tongue edges). Nice stuff.

Handbottle thanks to blutt59 and bu11zeye. Pours with an off-white head over a clear amber body. Aroma of herbaceous and citrus hops. A bit of spiced malt (rye or something). Buckwheat. Centennial coming across stronger than the amarillo or citra on the nose. A touch estery. Taste is bitter, nicely balanced hop composition. Fruity, pine, stonefruit. Dried appricot or other dried fruit. Good bitterness, but no lasting astringency. Finishes clean. Medium carbonation. perfectly well attenuated. Good stuff. Going to miss going over to Fort Worth to visit Jamie at the Covey. Thankfully I think I have the TX hookups to deliver his beer ;)

Thanks to blutt59 for sharing this growler. The beer pours a light orange-amber color with a white head. The aroma is very fruity. I get notes of all sorts of citrus fruits including oranges, tangerines, apricots and peaches as well as some piney and resiny hops. I also get some caramel malt in the aroma. The flavor is just as complex, but a little bit different than the aroma. I get resiny hops, orange hops, caramel malt, rye and other spices. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Excellent.

(Growler, courtesy of blutt59) Pours a clear orange body with a medium white head. Aroma of caramel, grass, orange, pine, mango, pineapple, and dried apricot. Flavor of caramel malt, grass, pine, grass, and resin with a somewhat dry, bitter finish.
