COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This strong, light copper colored lager is traditionally brewed to celebrate the coming of spring and give the drinkers of Munich a break from the usual dark bocks. Sweet, malty flavors dominate while crisp, refreshing noble hop aroma and flavor beckon another sip.

Finish is a little bitter. Total score 2.9 EDIT: On tap at the Covey. Aroma is still honey, hops, butter, and malt, but it’s much better fresh. Tap at the pub. Clear orange appearance with a slight white head. Bitter hops on the nose. Slightly nutty and grassy. Perfumed wheat comes through, probably resulting from the hops. Taste is of protein salt and hops. Bitter feelings remain through the finish. Not bad, but the 7.8% sneaks up on you REAL fast. The ABV maintains a strong body. Not my favorite style, but for what it is, it’s enjoyable. Now to polish off my weekly growler...
