Very red through the light; perfectly creamy looking head consistency. Red metal & wet leather aroma. Creamy smooth malted body; one of the better tasting ambers I’ve had in a good while. Indeed, smooth almost to a fault, and the palate barely register, though very easy to drink. Tastes almost nitro pumped, even out of the bottle. Frankly, I’m very impressed. One of the better beers I’ve had in North Carolina.

From a 12 oz bottle at home. Pours a hazy amber with a white head. Banana notes in the nose. Flavors of malt. An okay beer but not to my taste.

355 ml bottle from jsprime. Amber with a tan head. Caramel barley candy aroma. The flavour is more in balance but it’s still a toasty cara malt bomb. A serviceable amber. Fine for what it is.

Bottle thanks to rbrazell! Pours a clear copper color with little to no head or lacing. Aroma of pale and caramel malts, taste follows, a little bready. Decent.

Clear light amber pour with almost no head. Sweet nutty caramel, grainy and metallic character. Sweeter brown sugar and powdery chocolate flavor with caramel and touch of pine at the end. Not terrible.
