Not a great beer. Tap at Jose Pistolas in Philly. Poured a amber color (!) and quite dark, I thought I was getting a quality beer, with a large white head. Aroma was somewhat pleasant, quite sweet with a nice hoppy note to it. Taste was quite terrible. I really did not enjoy this beer. kind of like rancid dishwater, needs some work.

Officially classified as an amber ale, although reminded me more of an amber lager... either way a decent but unexceptional offering from Duck Rabbit, not as memorable as their milk stout I have sampled previously. Clear amber appearance with long lasting white head, grainy caramel aroma. Taste is a bit weak, although features a nice slightly roasted and sweet interplay of malty notes, almost like a more sophisticated Yuengling lager. A bit thin on the palate as well but still refreshing. On draft this is a reliable and drinkable stand-alone beer.

Clear amber with white head. Malt and toffee notes on the nose and palate ... Easy to drink thus one, not a bad effort...

Bottle. Nice copper color with a medium head. Aroma was lightly roasted grains with just a tad of candy corn. Taste was a tad weak but with caramel, roasted grains and toast.

From the 12oz bottle purchased from a sampler case. Low gravity and density leave a few things to be desired. A slightly acidic taste. Ho hum, this is left as a mildly disappointing review. I expected more from a brewer who has some top-notch beers in their cellar.

Bottle. Clear amber with an off white head. Aroma is caramel and toffee. Taste follows suit and adds some apple and light hop bitterness. Medium mouthfeel and carb. Pretty good.

High calorie but otherwise a great taste. Good color. Nice smell and no after taste either.

Bottle into shaker. Aroma: Yep, itís beer. Color is darker than I would expect from an amber ale. Malty sour taste. Leaves a sour yeast funk aftertaste. Very effervescent mouthfeel. Light body finishes long. Iíve heard great things about this beer, Might have been the fact it was a month out of date, but I wasnít impressed.

Bottle. From the home of dark beers I guess i should have expected a lack luster amber.

Had on tap in a pint glass. Pours a clear reddish brown with just a thin off white head. Aroma of caramel and toast along with a touch of roasted malt. Some grassy hops sneak through too. More roast in the flavor. It is on the light side, however, and there is a very healthy dose of toffee and toast. Grass and hay from the hops and a moderate bitterness. Mouthfeel is on the watery side. Overall, a decent amber ale but nothing really makes it stand out. Not my favorite from Duck Rabbit.
