12oz bottle. Pours cloudy amber in color with foamy tan head. Aroma malty, caramal and floral hops. Taste roasted malt and caramal with bitter finish.

Bottle into shaker. Aroma: Yep, it’s beer. Color is darker than I would expect from an amber ale. Malty sour taste. Leaves a sour yeast funk aftertaste. Very effervescent mouthfeel. Light body finishes long. I’ve heard great things about this beer, Might have been the fact it was a month out of date, but I wasn’t impressed.

Bottle. From the home of dark beers I guess i should have expected a lack luster amber.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Had on tap in a pint glass.
Pours a clear reddish brown with just a thin off white head.
Aroma of caramel and toast along with a touch of roasted malt. Some grassy hops sneak through too.
More roast in the flavor. It is on the light side, however, and there is a very healthy dose of toffee and toast. Grass and hay from the hops and a moderate bitterness. Mouthfeel is on the watery side.
Overall, a decent amber ale but nothing really makes it stand out. Not my favorite from Duck Rabbit.

Amber color with a lasting ivory head. Sweet malted grain nose. Rich caramel sweetness with some light toast, yeasty bread and some subtle fruitiness. Very nice amber ale.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a light amber. Has a grainy and lift malt aroma. Taste is a mix of malt and pils with some nuts flavor. Doesn’t taste like a amber ale.

Cooper-colored, with a small head. Smells kind of grassy. Tastes okay - kind of nutty with some maltiness. Thanks for sharing JB

Surprisingly this had an amber color. Foamy, spotty lacing. Sweet grainy nose. Sweet grainy palate too. Nothing special. From State College PA.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A very intriguing beer to me, rather bland on some occasions, and yet still satisfies with a diverse palate on others. Taste is pistachio, roasted malt, and chocolate. Smell is malt, wheat, oak and cocoa. Pretty good amber.

4.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Very red through the light; perfectly creamy looking head consistency. Red metal & wet leather aroma. Creamy smooth malted body; one of the better tasting ambers I’ve had in a good while. Indeed, smooth almost to a fault, and the palate barely register, though very easy to drink. Tastes almost nitro pumped, even out of the bottle. Frankly, I’m very impressed. One of the better beers I’ve had in North Carolina.

From a 12 oz bottle at home. Pours a hazy amber with a white head. Banana notes in the nose. Flavors of malt. An okay beer but not to my taste.
