Commercial Description:
The Duck-Rabbit Baltic Porter is deep, rich and velvety soft. A full blooded roasty character is balanced by complex alcohol notes. Strong (9% alcohol by volume) yet unfailingly subtle, this special brew warrants sipping and savoring.

A pitch black beer with a brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of soy sauce, roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, and alcohol. The flavor is sweet and very roasted, which adds a bit of acidity, but also with notes of chocolate, and hints of smoked malt. The alcohol burns on the tongue. Thanks to Engelsmann for sharing this one.

Bottled, thanks Immy! Very black, minimal brown head. Aroma of coffee and plums. Medium sweet with concentrated flavour of toffee, coffee, citrus and tar. The mouthfeel is compact, and the flavours are really intense and concentrated. I find notes of chocoalte pudding and blackberries. salty finish. More refined than the traditional rather crude examples of the style. Well worth it’s high rating!
