COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Duck-Rabbit Baltic Porter is deep, rich and velvety soft. A full blooded roasty character is balanced by complex alcohol notes. Strong (9% alcohol by volume) yet unfailingly subtle, this special brew warrants sipping and savoring.

12 oz. bottle from Southern Season. Ar: Fairly roasty aroma, rich chocolate. Ap: Pours a deep, thick black with a very small light brown head. T: Very rick, deep roasted flavor. Chocolate, fairly sweet; mild finish is a touch acidic. Fairly moderate alcohol on the finish with a bit of roast. P: Very thick, a bit oily with fairly assertive carbonation for a big porter. O: Really nice.

Bottle at Brony Tasting, DC. Pale sour chocolate malt, funky odd sweetness. Lots of wort flavors. Didn’t live up to expectations for me.

Bottled pours dark with almost no head. black cherry bit of oak. OK but needs better body. The lack of arb hurts.

Pours black with a faint tan head. Somewhat thin. Less oily and slightly watered down version of a good Stout. Flavor is OK but not great. The dried fruit flavors had more of a black licorice taste. Very smooth with no harshness or bitterness. From what I had read I have been waiting for some time to find this and try it. I was somewhat disappointed as it didn’t live up to the hype.

12 oz. thanks to Brian on this one. Pitch black with thin tan head. Great roasted notes with ash, chocolate and mils dark fruit tones.

Texture of the brew as an ash quality that shows deep roasted notes that linger well after the sip. Body is on the fuller side of medium with mild charred oak in the finish. The best way to drink a brew is without any expectations. Willrunforbeer had this cellared for a long while and it stood the test of time and was a very nice drink.
