Bottle. Copper with tan head and light lacing. Smells like candied-apple, brandy, and an undercurrent of vetiver. Taste is more to the bitter side with a little sour and some sweetness. A little astringent, nice bitter finish.

Hazy dark golden amber with a lingering two-finger head that finally reduces to a head cover; thick streaks of lace. Sweet caramel malt opens this, followed by fruitcake fruit through the palate that finishes with a palatable warming alcohol that also provides a balancing edge. A very good Barleywine. Highly recommended.

Bottle. This must be infected. The nose is funky and it tastes of chemicals and medicinal. Too bad, I was looking forward to this.

12 ounce bottle via Timfoolery, nice head and fizziness, malty, not overly boozy. Simple but good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Strange beer. The fruit flavors in this combine in a really odd way. Not bad tho

Dark amber with a thick off white head. Aroma is light pine hops with a very slight fruity element. Flavor is a little sweet with a tiny bit of hops in the finish. A little resinous in the finish though the body is a bit thin. Aftertaste is bittersweet. Not bad, but it could be a bit more impressive.

Bottle. Pours copper with a dissipating off-white head. Nose is mango, pine and a touch of caramel. Taste is a variety of tropical fruits, namely mango and pineapple with a strong caramel backbone. Palate is full and smooth. Bit of alcohol bite throughout. Nice beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Decent, if a little flat. Also I don’t think that mine was quite this strong...Pours dark, little head or carbonation. Sweet, not very hoppy, and smooth. Good, not amazing.

Location/Date:Bottle split with Dave on 4/7/2013 during S3E2 of GoT.

Appearance: Pours a medium caramel clear.
Aroma: Aroma of caramel, light booze, faint bread.
Taste: Light hop, strong caramel, somewhat sweet.
Palate:Medium light body, light aftertaste.

Summary: Going through my collection in the great inventory reduction of 2013, so getting kinda burnt out on the style - but this is really well made, I like the lightness of the appearance and the body.
