COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An American brown ale brewed with loads of hops from start to finish (it’s hoppy and beautifully bitter). Amarillo hops in the boil provide a spicy citrusy bitterness. Saaz dry hops in the fermentor provide a refined flowery aroma. These hops are supported by a grain bill of seven varieties of malt.

On tap at Loco Joe’s in Southport, NC. Color was a copper brown with off white head. Aroma is malt dominant, no hop presence. Taste is almost metalic, and it lingers for some time, finish is dry. Too much going at in the aftertaste, a bit disappointing.

From a 12 bottle shared in Avon, NC. Pours a hazy brown with a thick ecru head. Rich caramel malt nose. Very effervescent mouthfeel. Hops kick in big time. Interesting but doesn’t completely work for me.

Hops overload. Vorbonation overload. Metallic and overly bitter finish. Not a tradional brown, but good gor hop heads.

Pours a copper color with little off white colored head. Nose is very malty lots of sweet goodness. Taste is a bit bitter to start, must be a lot more hops than I expected but it mellows off into a bit of sweet malt with the finish being kind of dry. Nothing too special, too much hops for a brown ale in my opinion

Dark brown pour with a small tan head. Aromas of malt and citrus/floral hops. Flavor is malty with some biscuit notes trying to come through but are almost drowned out by the hop character. Good brew, back off on the hops just a bit and it would be exceptional.
