badbeer (419), Iowa, USA Jul 7, 2008 Clear brown color with a strong pillowy off-white head. Smell is roasty with hints of caramel and plenty of earthy hop aroma. Taste is earthy in the beginning but gains a nice nuttiness in the middle. Lingering nuttiness and roast in the finish that is quite nice. High carbonation with a medium body. Pretty nice beer, but there are just a few things that take away from what it could be. The lingering aftertaste is awesome, but it isn’t that great for me when it hits the tongue, and the mouthfeel wasn’t quite on for me. Worth a try, you may love it.
daknole (1122), Plantation, Florida, USA Nov 30, 2008 Holy hell this is what a brown ale should be all about. Murky brown pour with a thin tan head. Aroma is really nice. I get some nuts, notes of lactose, hops and a bit of fruitiness. Tastes like this brown ale has part milk stout, part porter, and part ipa in it. Creamy mouthfeel, smooth mellow hops and some nutiness make this a seemless brew. VERY underrated and for the life of me I cannot figure out why. rcasta (339), El Salvador Nov 21, 2008 f-i-n-e

4a verguiada consecutiva a las pajaritas lloronas. Quien es su tata? DuffMan (2129), Calgary, Alberta, Canada Oct 31, 2008 GABF 2008. Mahogany brown. Sweet caramel aroma, with a subtle fruitiness. Brown sugary malt, interesting hard-to-pin down fruit element (may unroasted hazelnut?), reedy bitter finish. Interesting and tasty. Certainly the lightest of the 3 I tried from this excellent brewery. nqualls (573), Tennessee, USA Oct 26, 2008 Bottle. Poured a dark red/brown with a two finger tan head. Aroma of roasted malt and floral hops. Flavor was bitter, with roasted malt and bready flavors. Good beer. colemgm8 (422), Alpharetta, Georgia, USA Oct 22, 2008 tasting at GDBTF on 10/18/08. big hoppy brown ale. pours average brown color with some tan head. soft on palate. medium body. really hoppy for a brown ale - really took this one up a notch. Normally I think brown ales are kinda dull - - but Duck Rabbit has added some life into their brown ale.
