COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Duck-Rabbit Märzen is the lightest of our Germal-style lagers. This is a beer designed for outdoor autumn festivals! Soft malt flavors take center stage here. This one is subtle and beguiling.

Pours dark amber and clear with a very small head. Nice malty caramel aroma. Malty, caramel flavor with a bit of bread. Medium body, medium carbonation.

Light bit good smell, hard to quantify due to close campfire...malty no hops taste...thick but no specific taste

Draft. Clear deep amber color, medium off white head. Aroma of lightly spiced caramel. Taste is caramel, biscuit. Not bad.

På fat. Brun öl med vitt skum. Karamell och nöt i både smak och doft. Svag beska i eftersmaken.

This is only 4.8%? I’m not used to such a sticky-malty beer being so low alcohol. Great rich maltiness like the best of the style, almost a brown ale really instead of a lager. I was surprised by this one.

Enjoyable. Attractive amber-red although my draft lacked much head at all, which may have also muted the slightly bready and malty aroma. Some surprising up front malt sweetness quickly gives way to a well balanced, very drinkable quaffer with decent body. With a little head on it this would be very good.

Fresh 2013 bottl.e Pours a beautiful copper with a slightly off-white head. Some lacing. Nice bready, sugar, roasted malt aroma. Taste is slightly creamy, sugar, roasted malt, lightly grassy dry finish. Real easy drinking.

The aroma is weak, although I can whiff some bread and other malts. It is amber in color with a weak head. The bread and caramel taste is decent, but a bit more carbonation flavor is present than I would like.

12 oz bottle at the brewery. Pours clear brown with an amber hue to it. White head. Nice crisp, malty aroma. Tastes like caramel malts with a slight lingering bitterness. Really easy-drinking beer. Not as robust as most Duck-Rabbit beers.

Bottle from De Molen. Poured a clear golden brown with a thin white head. The aroma is malt and caramel leading to a medium bitter flavour with some toffee, caramel, malty sweetness on the smooth slightly watery palate. A super beer and a fine example of the style.
