On tap at the Mellow in Asheville. Bright copper with a tiny head. Soft malt aroma and all malt taste. Just what I was looking for! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Pours a beautiful red brown with a quick white head. Really nice brown sugar nose. Taste is slick, grainy, sweet, and really goes down smooth. Really great marzen.

Sample at Snallygaster DC event on October 13th, 2012. Pours a slightly over dark copper. Nice aroma, nice amount of caramel. Along with Bells and Great Lakes, one of the better Oktoberfests made in America that I’ve had.

Good example of marzen, just not my style. It pours clean and finishes crisp, it;s all malt. Better than most American marzen, not as good as the best Germans

A superior marzen entry with a classic profile that showcases malt. Caramel Malts blend with graham cracker and light hops to draw you into the aroma. Pours a gorgeous brown with a small off-white head. Clean on the palate with a lingering noble hop fade and some residual malt sugar. Starts off malty and hops steadily rise as you swallow. Right up there with the classics.

12oz bottle in a plastic cup. Pours brown with a beige head. Aroma of caramel, toffee, toasted malts, and some floral hops. Flavor a nice blend of these. Average texture. A much better beer of this style than what most German beers are.

Draught. Poured a deep amber color with a fairly small head. It was slightly spicy to me, but very subtly. Decent malty flavors, but I was a bit underwhelmed by it. Meh.
