COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Duck-Rabbit Märzen is the lightest of our Germal-style lagers. This is a beer designed for outdoor autumn festivals! Soft malt flavors take center stage here. This one is subtle and beguiling.

12oz. Color of apple cider. Thin head. Caramel aroma. A lot of caramel sweetness in the taste. Smooth drinking.

Bottle from JCB. Copper pour with small white head. Aroma of malt and toffee. Taste is the same with a bit of hops that come through in the finish. The flavors come through, I just expected more, powerful flavors I guess. Everything seems a bit weak. I was good, just could have been better.

Amber color. Where’s the head? Smells a little bit yeasty and a tin. First sip is good. This is surprisingly sweet beer. Aroma is on malts and yeast categories (cereal, toast, dough, earthy), but not extremely complex. After few too fizzly sizzly fermenting beer lately I like how this beer feels in my mouth, but this is comment has got mostly do with me & now.

Pours clear amber with barely any head. Strong caramel malt aroma with a little bit tart yeastiness. Taste is somewhat lacking. Slightly bitter with that same yeasty tartness lingering at the end. Not bad but I feel it’s lacking something.

I love it when local breweries take on other seasonal styles and it turns out delicious!

The aroma is weak, although I can whiff some bread and other malts. It is amber in color with a weak head. The bread and caramel taste is decent, but a bit more carbonation flavor is present than I would like.

Pours dark amber and clear with a very small head. Nice malty caramel aroma. Malty, caramel flavor with a bit of bread. Medium body, medium carbonation.

Pours a copper orange color with a decent off white head. Nose is heavy malt with a slight toffee sweetness. Flavor is caramel, some spice, bready with a nice mouth feel. Finishes clean with a pleasant after taste. Not a bad Marzen.

12 oz bottle. Coppery-brown pour with a thin off-white head. Toasted caramel malt aroma. Flavor is a crisp and refreshing with a good amount of flavor - toasted malts with some caramel and bready notes. Not the greatest beer, but definitely one of the best efforts I’ve had in the style. A good balance of crispness and flavor.
