markwise (1132), 15 Minutes from Kuhnhenn in, Florida, USA Jan 14, 2009 Pours cola brown with a tan head. Aroma is coffee, roasted malt, and chocolate. Flavor is very drinkable chocolate, coffee, and mellow vanilla/milk presence. It matches Left Hand Milk Stout on many levels, but so much fizziness detracts from the beer. mwelsh13 (483), Maryland, USA Jan 6, 2009 12oz bottle pours deep black with a nice fluffy brown and tan head. It lasts a long time. Big time coffee and roasted grain aroma. Nice body, but a bit thin for my liking. Very smooth beer with a good coffee, vanilla, and cream flavor. Easy going down. Great sweet stout. nathan30533 (138), Dahlonega, Georgia, USA Dec 25, 2008 Pours dark, with white/lite brown head. Not to much aroma but the taste is that of a good stout. rich malts with light taste of hops. Good overall stout. JohnQPublic (387), Brooklyn, New York, USA Dec 21, 2008 Bottle. Pours black, with brown showing around the edges and a thin tan head. Nose is smooth coffee, a bit of sweet cocoa. Taste starts off with a smooth, roasty coffee note, but quickly pulled in by an even smoother sweet cocoa note. Really nice stout - I would drink this regularly if I had access. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with a light but crisp carbonation. esjaygee (1467), Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA Dec 21, 2008 Bottle from brentk56, thanks! Brown with a medium tan topper, airy and rolling back into the liquid. Aroma of dark and roasted malts, chocolate, lactose sugar and seaweed. Okay, I’m kidding on the seaweed. Taste mimics the aroma with some mild peat qualities. Not too sweet. Decent but nothing spectacular. pantanap (1322), Chicago, Illinois, USA Nov 27, 2008 12oz bottle from my father in law. thanks mylon.... pours deep dark brown, some light coming through, with a thin soapy light brown head.... a mostly smokey chocolate aroma with some added roast. not much lactose to be detected.... flavors don’t stray too far from what was previously mentioned. carbonation made it almost cola-like....i think i would prefer moloko to this any day. Homer321 (127), Rockledge, Florida, USA Nov 20, 2008 courtesy of mcbackus. beautiful color with a light head. wonderful roastiness overpowers lactose. higher carbonation than most stouts, but lends to the mouthfeel. tastes like a malt ball with dark chocolate. Probably one of the best milk stouts I have had recently. merlin48 (509), New Tazewell, Tennessee, USA Nov 3, 2008 Dark brown pour with an attractive khaki head and lots of lacing. Aroma of milk chocolate and herbal hops. Taste has a ton of milk chocolate sweetness, edged by a pleasant herbal and grassy hop bitterness. Nicely done.
