| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 9, 2007 Bottled, pours black with a tall, light brown head. Smells just amazing, very chocolaty, with touches of gingerbread and root beer. Roasted, mildly bitter dark cocoa flavor, lively mouthfeel, medium-bodied, and dry. Roasty finish and aftertaste. Beautiful package is only slightly tarnished by a little tinge of something plastic or rubbery. Still, a fun beer to drink.
