COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A traditional full-bodied stout brewed with lactose (milk sugar). The subtle sweetness imparted by the lactose balances the sharpness of the highly roasted grains which give this delicious beer its black color.

Duck Rabbit Milk Stout pours a rich dark brown with a very thick persistent head of fine mocha bubbles. I was unable to pour the 12 oz in a glass in one shot even with tilting the glass. Nose is very rich sweet milk and roasted malt tones. Body is full and creamy, silky. taste is tangy roasted malt happiness with just a hint of bitters broadening on the finish.

Bottle: Dark brown with a tan head. Cola, dark chocolate, cocoa scent. Taste is cola, chocolate and caramel malts, cream. Very rich and nicely carbonated. Very good.

Aroma of charred wood and bread. Smooth mouth feel rich smoky bread and toffee, with a sweet acidic finish. Dark color with an off white head that dissipates quickly.

Tasted at Hops ’n Crafts in Nashville, TN. It was from a Firkin at room temp, very smooth and creamy. The lactose sweetness is very present. Overall a pleasurable experience. Kudos to Hops ’n Crafts to bring this beer to Nashville!

355 ml bottle. Clear brown with gigantic tanned head. Smell is sweet and roasted malty. Taste is sweet caramel, roasted malt. Sweet with low bitterness and medium carbonation.

Pour from a 12oz bottle. Big puffy head that takes some time to settle. Nice aroma of chocolate, roasted grains. Taste is sweet malt, some toasted grain and some hints of chocolate. Ends sweet. Palate is surprisingly thin. Simple and rather plain. For what is there it is good but I’d look for some more complexity.

Showcasing all the right aromas and flavors but in unbalanced proportions. Unpleasant foamy feel in the mouth and somewhat sour in the mid-section. Not great.

Pours black with a thick creamy tan head that leaves almost no lacing on the glass as it dissipates quickly. Aroma is strong yet sweet with dark cocoa. Mild carbonation in the mouth with notes of burnt sugar and extreme roasted malt. This is another poor tasting beer.

Dark pour from bottle not much head or bubbles. . Malts, cacao beans and lactose. Pretty nice
