3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Dark brown pour with a tiny white head. Nose is roasted malt, chocolate, vanilla touch and milky sweetness. Flavor isn't as sweet as expected, mostly roasted malts, bitter dusty chocolate with some vanilla. Not bad, expected more.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Solid milk stout. A little thin in the mouthfeel and not too complex. Good representation of the style.

Very light on the pallet but still fairly creamy. This is a stout for non stout lovers I think.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
12 oz bottle into a tulip, served at somewhat room temperature. Pours a pitch black with a lazy tan edging. Nose is roast, ash, and chocolate. A little hint of cherries on the end of the nose. Taste is roasted malts and chocolate. Just a touch of lactic sweetness/tang on the finish but this drinks more like a dry stout then a milk stout. Creamy yet dry finish. Tasty enough!

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
pours very dark nearly black, brownish head. aroma of chocolate malt, slightly sweet aroma. Flavor is roasty, smooth slightly creamy malt flavor. true to the style, one of the best milk stouts I have had. Would be very nice with a desert, perhaps cherry pie or a piece of dark chocolate.

4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
I received this in a trade more than enough times and just found the notes to this.
Every time I’ve had this, it was always poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a nice dark brown close to black color with an off-white to somewhat dark tan one finger head that dies at a nice slow pace and ends up leaving some nice looking spiderwebbing lacing in the wake.
The smell had a super nice blend of dark roasty chocolate malts to coffee beans. Its an eloquent combination!
The taste was bittersweet bliss between the chocolate and the coffee. There was the exact same aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, it sat medium to heavy. I found myself sipping this, but it showed a superb carbonation running about my mouth and tongue.
Overall, all I have to say is absolutely wow! If I lived in North Carolina, I would probably be stalking this brew wherever I could find it.
