Another old note on my phone, yay old notes. Good aroma, nice initial smoke, followed by the cherry.nice reddish brown color, small head, little to no lace. Sweet flavor. Medium body, creamy smooth mouthfeel sweet finish. Nice. Dang, Iíve bumped into this a couple more times as Iíve been out, but never entered it, oh well all set now.....

Pours a semi-transparent coffee brown with a buttery tan head. Smoky malt aroma has notes of caramel, charred wood and toffee. Delightful flavor trots toffee, roast malt, toffee and smoky wood notes across the palate plus a snip of coffee. Texture is firm and fizzy, more like a stout than a Porter. Happy holidays! Every day is a holiday somewhere.

This one poured a darker brown with a beige head. Aroma was dark chocolate, and smoke mainly. Flavor was heavy on the smoke, definitely meaty, sweet lactose sugar and roasted malts. Reallys olikd smoked stout.

Draft at Mad Mex on McKnight Road in Pittsburgh. Little to no head visible head on top of a properly dark colored fill. More aroma of smoke than taste of same. Flat finish left me wanting a bit more from this average offering.

On tap at the brewery. Looks, smells and tastes kinda like the regular Porter but has a little smokiness to it. Thin like the regular Porter as well. A decent Porter, but I wouldnít go out of my way to find it.

Tap at samís and beer study. Pours dark brown with a sudsy tannish head. Nose is campfire, meat, light wood, cocoa, light oats. Flavor is medium smoke, nice roast, light cocoa. Nice stuff.

Dark pour with one finger of tan head. Meaty aroma with some roastrf grain and coffee. Pretty smokey flavor with a medium body and dry finish
