Shared with toncatcher. Pours a dark black with a tan head. Smells of chocolate, caramel, oak, caramel/hops. Tastes of chocolate, coffee, oak and a little warming.

12 oz bottle shared with toncatcher. Nice black pour with really nice head. Chocolate and coffee on the aromas were really nice. Flavor had something odd about it. Couldn’t really place the flavor. But not what I expected.

Dark black color, tan head, nice lacing. Nose of rich tar and roast, thick sweet super saturated licorice and cocoa, nice alcohol and hop blends with lots of nutty, peanut, almond and toffee notes. Intense, moderate alcohol. Finishes creamy, balanced, sweet and bitter, way up there too. Nice! Thanks Jake.

Bottle thanks to nolankowal. Aroma and appearance were pretty solid for this one. Flavor was just weird and fruity, metallic, and felt really weird on the palate. Not one I could drink a lot off. Ill stick with their baltic porter.

Bottle. Deep black in color with no head. Sour aroma. Molasses notes. Malty caramel flavor. Sour tasting. Not too much body here. Little or no head retention. Ok.

Bottle (Thanks much boboski). Pours a jet black color with a 1-2 finger tan head. Aroma is roasted malts, molasses & a little booze. Flavor is again big on the roasted malts, molasses, with some coffee, vanilla & bittersweet chocolate. A touch on the bitter side, but still quite tasty.

Bottle from TAR, probably 1 year old or so. Interesting IS. Very british. Big syrupy sweetness, molasses, very slightly dry finish. No noticable flaws, but not too much interest, either. Well made but not exciting.
