Bottle thanks to ericandersnavy. Pours a very deep, dark black with a copper head. Aroma of strong dark roast, sweet, faint alcohol. Flavor is great, sweet, alot of dark roast, hides alcohol very well. Mouth feel has a heavy, smooth body andlow carbonation. Overall, Pretty tasty stuff!

Yummily sweet and plummy, with a nice woody character, this goes down easily. Nice hearty body, deep dark rich looking and feeling, aroma a tad hot as is flavor. Oily body.

Bottle from ’06 courtesy of footy. Pours oily black with a fizzy reddish brown head. Full of dark cherries, plums, and roast on the nose. Tastes of cherry cough syrup, baker’s cocoa, butterscotch, licorice, ash, and chalk. Dense and satisfying. Prepare yourself.

Bottle. Sweet roasty aroma, with foreground alcohol. Black body, no head. Unbalanced flavor, sweetness, alcohol. Overrated.

Bottle courtesy of Blankboy. Really nice aroma - lots of alcohol, roast and milk chocolate. Black with a small very dark brown head. Taste - a little different. Alcohol is very present and the roast is nice but the body is a touch thin and has a lactic quality I do not care for. Still, this one has a lot of layers and is one big stout which I enjoyed having.
