Very dark on the pour. Piney and a somewhat burnt caramel flavor. Malty, nutty flavors with a light sweet roasty aftertaste.

From a can at a friends house. Nice aromas of nutty browns. Pecan aromas that were still present in the flavor. Not a fan of browns and the uniqueness of this beer was not enough to overcome that problem.

Dark brown body, offwhite head. Aroma has much sweet malt and nuttiness. Flavour has nut and malt, but there is some bitterness to carry it. Not enough though. Not my treat.

It smells like the best pecan pie, smooth nutty creamy.hazy brown you can just see through. It taste like a drink you would get at a coffee shop. I wish it had a slighty more grainy body to carry the flavor.

Can from Rehills, Newcastle. This extremely dark brown beer pours with a large foamy head. It has a rich milk chocolate and vanilla flavour, pecan nutty notes followed by more warming chocolate and liquorice on the finish. Very Nice!

aste is nutty. What a surprise! But actually, also a fair bit of spiky maltiness. Lingering aftertaste of nuts. Maybe not the most exciting beer I’ve ever had, but it’s nice enough. Little bit of sweetness there. Cola and light bitterness.

The beer pours a very clear reddish brown color with a small light tan head, and the aroma blends heavy chocolate and caramel malts with cocoa powder and nuttiness. Although the aroma is quite sweet and heavy on the nose, the taste is a bit more balanced with a mild sweetness, slight umami, and a touch sour with a chocolatey and nutty aftertaste. The palate fuses a slick and thin texture, light body, and a nearly flat carbonation.

Pour is a dark brown with a average tan head. Aroma Is roasted nuts with some toffee and a bit of coffee. Flavor is a big nut with more of a caramel following. Finish leaves a peanut butter on the tongue as this goes down. This was a decent beer if you like nutty beers. A bit one dimensional with the nuts used but it was better than your average brown ale.

Pecan with toffee, Werther’s caramel candy, and slight chocolate aromas. Taste follows suit. The flavors in and of themselves are nice and blend fine, but the finish is too sweet, and even a little metallic. I’m guessing the sweetness is a cover for the fairly elevated ABV. I think this could have been a lot better if they lessened the sweetness a little and just gave it a more typical ABV for a brown ale. Some good stuff going on here, but the execution is just not precise.
