From my dear brother: Pours light orange with barely any head. Aroma is lightly bready, sweet malts. Taste is a slightly sweet lager. This is certainly not impressive. Nothing offensive, but hardly anything to write home about.

355 ml bottle, Winnipeg, MB, Canada. Medium gold, sweet corn aroma. Slightly soapy flavour, some honey sweetness, slight pepper.

UPDATED: AUG 30, 2013 Tried this beer the instant it was released. Had such an unfavourable impression of it that I decided not to review/rate it until later. 8/9 months later I had the chance to try this again. The best thing about this beer is the aroma; slightly bready, very yeasty and perhaps with a hint of banana or clove. Initital taste is fat, buttery sweetness (diacetyl?), punctuated by a thin metallic hop bit. Noble hops? Quite reminiscent of a mass market European lager (DAB?). Quickly fading taste which finishes with a faint bitterness. Not a bad beer, but very bland, indistinct and sadly forgettable. . The fact that all of the ingredients are grown by the brand owner (and they contract brew out?) is not enough to recommend it and certainly does not justify the price. Drink this rather than Labatt’s.

355 ml bottle courtesy of Robeerto #079. Clear golden yellow, fading foamy white head. Aroma is grainy lager malts. Buttery flat sweet-ish lager malt taste, some faint earthy hop. Soft carbonation, light body, lightly hopped. Nice enough, a little bland, could use more fizz. LF (Lagerboy Friendly)

Beer pours a golden straw color typical of a lager. Nice carbonation into the glass which gives us a nice foamy one finger bright white head. The initial aroma impressions of this beer are misleading. You’d swear you are smelling the common corn adjuct in this beer as it has a very sweet smell, but as you read the back of the bottle, you come to find that this beer is an all malt beer. Malt, hops, yeast and water, that’s it so there can’t be an adjunct smell. What you are smelling is a bit of sweet malt, a bit of grain, A LOT of a very clean YEAST notes! Very clean sweet banana notes and slight phenolic clove notes. Those two mixed with a slightly sweet malt base contribute to the false adjunct smell. There is also a slight spicy note from the noble hops. I would be very surprised it this beer didn’t use a combination of Hallertau Mittlefruh, Saaz and/or Tettnang hops. The use of these hops seems to always impart just a slight earthy herbal hop spice note to a lager. The taste on this is very nice, very refreshing. The sweetness carries through to the beer although it takes a bit of a backseat to the hops which really lend their characteristics well to the beer since it is nicely carbonated. When the carbonation dances across your tongue, the leafy spice of the noble hop is there to leave a nice herbal note on your palate. The beer finishes very clean. It is quite balance although as we said before there is a bit of sweetness, but otherwise its quite nice.

A disappointing beer, but not a terrible one. A lot of wheat flavour, clean and light body. Very little hop and a fair bit of grain. Perhaps this is more personal opinion, but the overall profile was just too much wheat and not enough of anything else to make me want to drink it again.

Bottle. Clear gold pour with rapidly receding white head that leaves no lacing. Aroma is quite malty, sweet honey-like notes, quite a bit of tasted grain, fresh bready notes, well lagered, almost non-existant yeast notes. Hops are, however, also nowhere to be found. Taste is malty, crisp honey/biscuit malt, no hoppiness to speak of. Palate is med carbed with light-medium body, finish is clean and moderately dry. Well executed lager, could use a bit of flavor highlighting though.

Tried it twice. Strange sweetness on the nose. Palate was very light with little to no mouthfeel - almost watery. Not much of a finish either. Reminiscent of Coors Light but with a much higher price tag. BTW, brewed by Muskowka?! How is this considered local? I feel sorry for the local brewers that have to do their own work!

Bottle (355 ml). Extra from northropfrye, thanks! Clear golden with a small white head and no lacing. Aroma is of grains and sweet malts. Taste is sweet with malt and grains. Light body (not too bad for a premium lager though) and watery. Not a bad Premium Lager, but still a Premium Lager.
