Bottle at home in the sun. 15th March 14, light and clean, easy drinking, good for the garden, not one to savour, but good for what it is

This might be ok with dinner or something, but as GT2 noted there’s a strong note of mealy green apple with a sort of strange soggy grain flavor. Not a fan.

Bottle @ tasting, courtesy of dEnk. Pours an incredibly clear, pale golden beer with a small white head on top. Aroma is rather skunky, peppery and has a slight touch of some typical saison yeast. Flavor is very thin, watery and definitely an English session ale. Probably when I’ll be in England I will session this. Now it’s not too impressive.

Bottle shared at mrhangover’s place at his epic Eclipse tasting. Pours very clear and light golden with a white head. Aroma is bready, yeast, some citrus and that’s about it. Taste is light bitter and light sweet. Very light body. Easy drinkable as it should be.

33cl bottle from Westholme Stores, Goring. Very pale straw in colour with no head and medium carbonation; grassy/herbal aroma; citrus taste with a herbal backgound and a grainy body; and a sour fruity finish. Clean and refreshing.
