Keg at hanging bat... Light hazy amber... Thin white lacing... Very fruity.. Lughtest wine tones... Zezty fruits... Dry lemon hop.. Zingy and zezty... Juicy fruits bright fresh. And pretty awsome

On keg at the brewery, Clear pale amber, thin white bubbly head. Nose is urine sour, citrous lemon acidic, light vanilla, light fresh cut timber, tart acidic notes softened by the wood ageing. Taste is tart citrous lemon, urine, light vanilla, light wood, green apple, light vinous. Tart and spritzy with softened barrel aged notes, apple tannins.

On tap at Cask Clapham. A nice twist in this one, lovely red wine barrel character, fine to have this in a session strength beer. The saison character is well hidden, though.

Keg at CBC Clapham. It pours a slightly hazy golden colour with smal white head. Aroma is berries light wood, white grapes. Taste is light and zesty, lemon and orange zest, faint funk. Medium to thin body with good carbonation. Ok saison but too subtle barrel notes. In my experience, Kernel has proved to have the least effective (on flavours, it is) barrel aging I’ve seen, from saisons to stouts they tend to be a let down.

Craft Clapham. Keg. Light haze on this pale gold beer, small white head. Light crisp palate, minerally carbonation. Tangy citrus, almost sour but not quite. Red wine tannin but only very subtle red wine berry fruits. Touch of that Belgian worcester sauce - Duchesse du Bourgogne tangy sourness. Finishes crisp and semi dry.Nice.

Tap at CBC Clapham. Pours bright straw yellow with a small white head which slowly disappears leaving spotty lacing. Nose is quite vinous - very red grape forward, lemon tang, grassy undertones and light bread. Taste is big on red wine - like a frenchie or Pinot, red grape focus with light zest and citric rind, moderate spice, a touch of funk at the back end and sherbert. Lemon sweetness throughout. A very decent and different saison

Keg at CBC Clapjam. It pours hay golden with a small white head. The nose is bread, tart apple, melon, grape skin, citrus peel, lactic acid and wood . The taste is crisp, tart, earth, wood, tannins, lemony sherbet, green apple, natural yoghurt, barnyard, vinous, some acidity and light soapiness with a crisp, dry finish. Lightish body and fine carbonation. Crisp, funky and really rather drinkable. Enjoyable stuff.

Keg at CBC Clapham - London. Pours mostly clear, bright gold with a short, creamy white head. Lots of lactic tang in the nose, hints of underripe green apples, lemon. Light sweet flavor with sturdy tang, quick and mild lemon acidity, faint wheat cereal, lemon, subtle basement funk. Light bodied with fine, spritzy carbonation. Quick and clean on the finish with balanced lemony tang, hints of apple must, suggestions of grass, ripening lemons. Delicious and extremely drinkable.
