2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Disappointing, some vague hoppy notes and toiday flavours but nothing is fully asserted and it doesn’t really work.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Deep brown, slick and oily in the mouth. Sweet malts, chocolate, sticky dried fruits. Soft carbonation and a barely perceptible hop bitterness. Good brown ale, a tad on the sticky side for me though.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from oddbins London bridge. Served in a pint glass. Deep brown verging on black with an interesting nutty, floral hop, whoppers chocolate malt ball sweet in the aroma. Med-full bodied with a some scratchy carbonation. Chocolate syrup, hazelnut and dark chocolate in the taste. Probably the most flavorful brown ale I've ever had.
