Tap at CPK, London. Pours brown-black with a small, creamy beige head. Big burnt pine aroma, some roast and a bit of juicy citrus poking through. Medium sweet flavor, lots of earthy roast, grapefruit, burnt grass and pine. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sticky, resinous finish with sturdy roasted malts, grass and pine, lots of juicy citrus. Great stuff.

1st August 2011
On tap at the meet the brewer event at CP&K. Since the Export Porter has now been released in both Columbus and Brambling Cross versions - I think this is a fair game for adding to the database. Semi clear very dark brown beer. Big tan head. Light fluffy semi soft and semi dry palate. Mild dark chocolate in the dark malt which is less roasty than then Colombus version. Sweeter hops too. Orange and even a touch of red fruits, a little strawberry in there. Softish finish with a little creamy malt. Nicely joined up. Mild bitterness in the aftertaste.
