Black with creamy light brown head that leaves some big bubbles. Lots of berries, cocoa, coffee. Very fresh with some grass, rye and citrus. Starts slight sour, then a hint of sweetness and finishes with a long lasting coffee bitterness. Medium bodied with watery feel and full carbonation. Very fresh and complex, nice.

Erg lekkere porter !

Nice stuff, a hoppy lower abv porter with good flavors of cocoa, light fruitiness, and a surprisingly bitter finish. Would happily drink again.

Countbeer (4311) - Best of E-Town mit ein Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - MAR 16, 2014
Bottle: 6.3%ABV: Served in a Chouffe glass: Medium sized brown foamy head on top of a black colored beer. Aroma has lots of coffee with earthy hop tones, dark chocolate/cacoa, some liquorice, hint of manure and some malt roast. Flavours of dark chocolate, some lighter chocolate but mostly dark, bitters, coffee/light espresso, roasted malts, roasted wood, some chalk, quite deep and dark! Aftertaste is one with coffee, dark chocolate, bitters, some roast and some malts. Low carbo, creamy mouthfeel, less medium to more fuller bodied and a creamy texture. Wow, big of taste quite low in alcohol. Very well balanced and pretty thick. Lovely, absolutely lovely!

500ml bottle @ home. From Ales By Mail.

Light brown big foam with black outfit. Not so roasted, sweet case. I like but could be more full-bodied

500 ml bottle from Ales By Mail, served in a nonic pint glass. Bottled on 23-09-2013. Dark brown, looks pitch black in the glass, with a fluffy and persistent beige coloured head. Intriguing aroma of espresso coffee, 70% cocoa powder, ash and light smoke, earth/roots notes as well. During the first sip it seems quite vinous with tons of dark fruits, but it gets more chocolaty warming up. Good coffee bitternes and very pleasent dryness. It really is extremely quaffable with absolutely no trace of the alchool. Soft to average carbonation, medium body and slightly oily texture. Great.
