On tap at bar Animal in Madrid. Smells like light roast coffee and bread. Tastes similar to smell. Nice hop finish. This is an all-around great porter. Well-balanced and opinionated with coffee and hops without being obnoxious.

Pours black with a thick, shortly lived tan head. Aroma is unique, nutty, soy sauce, poly-glue, spice and hint of chocolate. Flavour is chocolate, vinegar, deep roasted malts, soy sauce. Palate is slightly oily and moderate to full bodied. Overall enjoyable but perhaps needs a tweak on the aroma.

Aroma: Cappuccino, soy sauce, vanilla and milk chocolate.

Appearance: Dark brown body with a massive tan head that holds well. Excellent lacing.

Taste: Sharp, almost sour citrus note backed by solid chocolate malt. Hints of lychee.

Palate: Thin to medium body with an oily texture.

Overall: Very nice but note quite as good as their Export Stout London 1890.
