3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Keg at Craven Arms, Birmingham. Dark brown with a thin head. Aroma of chocolate, coffee and coal. Sweet with a tempering bitterness, leading to an extra bite in the finish. Palette is a bit thin. Tasty but a bit anonymous, would have liked more personality.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Veggies in the back, amazingly low %. Usual hoppiness but some almost creme brullee like sweetness because of the roasted malts. A perfect 5.8 beer, so much you are tempted to sip it like an IRS.
Tap at the Beer Temple

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours black with a thick brown long-lasting head. Aroma of hops, followed by chocolate.
Taste is of chocolate, toasted malts, hops and a bit of licorice. The 6.3% abv is very well concealed. Dangerously easy to drink. All in all, a very nice porter.
