Alkohol: 10,2% obj.
Do samego końca centymetrowa warstwa przykrywa piwo i towarzyszy mi w degustacji.
Smak: W smaku sporo słodyczy w postaci czekolady, karmelu, toffi.
Wysycenie: Niskie.
Podsumowanie:
Moje kolejne piwo z Browaru The Kernel.

Pours black with a caramel colored foam. This tastes superb. Perfectly balanced with a nice kick. The texture is smooth and foamy, an excellent mouth feel with a good body. The best I have seen in a stout. Again the sharpness of the beer stop it becoming too malty or tasting like burnt. Its crisp, sharp, with an excellent finish.

Pitch black, small non lasting tan head. Aroma is of chocolate, roasted malt, coffee, light dark fruit and slight alcohol. Taste is medium sweet malt, chocolate, dark choco, roasted malt, some dark fruits, coffee beans, dry medium+ coffee bitter finish and long lasting aftertaste, alcohol well hidden. Medium to full bodied, soft carbonation, very creamy. Wow, that’s good! (bottle, Bierhalle Deconinck, Vichte)

Bottle. Pours dark black with hint of red. Little carbonation or head, head is yellow and while limited, it persists. Aroma is coffee, chocolate, toffee, dark fruit, plum, liquorice, dark caramel, hint of ash, with some pine hops in the background. Flavour is medium bitter, quite sweet, oily, with a surprisingly lovely smooth finish despite its ABV. Impressive, but not quite the best Imperial Stout I’ve had to date.

Bottle, 0,33l Aroma of chocolate, coffee, plums in chocolate, some very pleasant alcohol notes. Black with red reflections, tan head was not very high, but long-lasting. Heavy sweetness countered by medium bitterness. Pretty thick and oily, while low-carbonated, which made it very drinkable One of the best beers I’ve drunk
