Cortesy of fonefan; brewed 29.09.10 (8 months ago) It pours a dense black color, with a generous head, brownish. It has a strong aroma of roasted malts, with some liquorice, molasses, dust, but also perfumy; deep and interesting. Liquid chocolate flavor, with very good presence of dark caramel, tar, roasted malts and coffee, moderate liquorice; the sugars are well present too, rounding up the mouthfeel. Correct bitterness, some from the roasted malts obviously, but without disturbing. The alcohol warms the mouth like a perfect winter sipper. This is a very fine brew.
