Bottled 09/03/14. A reddy amber coloured beer with a white head. Lots of big hops, big malts and a big body. Quite sugary sweet amongst the massive hoppiness. Lots of fruit. Should have had this fresher obviously as the malts are now dominating over the hops.

18.05.2013. 0,33l Bottle. BB 25.05.2014. Golden orange colour with almost no head. Hazy and unclear with lots of yeast residue in the bottle. Very fresh aroma of yeast and floral sitrusy hops. Strong alcohol with rich body gives a very strong and tastefull beer. Flavours of yeast. Grapefruit, and spruce as well. Very good strong IPA.

Bottle, shared at midsummernights beer tasting. Hazy orange body, big foamy white head. Being the fan of centennial I am, I love this beer. The aroma is all about the good citrus fruit oils this hop contains, lemon, grapefruit, mango, these don’t take the backseat in taste either, but are combined with a moderate caramel and pine taste before it all explodes in a fruit orgy. A really good job of hiding the 10.1% here.

Bottle shared at the first East Croydon Beer Tasting, London. Pours super hazy (I got the end of the bottle) with a small, creamy white head. Lots of pine in the nose. Damn sweet flavor with lots of resinous pine, oils, some toast. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Warm finish with more pine, some slightly burnt malts, heavy citrus. Really damn good. I’ve actually had a bottle six+ months after the initial try and it’s still drinking beautifully (and it looked much better the last time I tried it). It’s certainly worth trying to track this beer down.

Bottle at home to Celebrate Jubilee, 3rd June 2012. Intense aroma, pine and citrus some caramel. Smooth drinking, bitter sweet marmalade, pine, grapefruit and pineapple. Drinks well below 10.1. Cheers

(bottle, 33cl) Cloudy, light-amber colour with a firm mid-sized off-white foamy head. Yeasty, intensively piney, almost a bit soapy hoppy aroma with notes of pine-needles, a very subtle fruity touch and cara-malt. Bitter-sweet flavour, full bodied with a moderate carbonation. Yeasty and hearty (cara-)malty base with loads of piney hops, accompanied by notes of grapefruit; dry-out effect towards the bitter-sweet piney hoppy and slightly fruity finish. 16.V.12

Bottle: Light amber coloured, cloudy, floaties visible, stable off-white head, solid piney-hoppy nose with a slight soapy touch; very solid bitter-sweet flavour , medium to full bodied, creamy MF; lingering hoppy-piney finish with a malty edge. Good, but disappointing by Kernel standards…

Hazy blonde with a strong grapefruit aroma. Pithily bitter, almost overwhelmingly so with plenty of alcohol in there too. Resin appears in the finish.
