Sampled draft @ “Kaapse Brouwers 1st Anniversary Beer Festival”. Hazy orange, little white head. Nose is big thick, rustic & wild fresh raw onion & garlic hops,.. Yeast dominates as it tends to do in some of these hoppy Kernel beers but than again this one is one of slightly higher ABV ones + is very fresh still. Taste is bitter dry, wild garlic, onion, hay, rustic, orange peel, light tropical hops, faint yeasty in the back,… Creamy, lightly yeasty body. Very solid, very nice.

7% ABV. On tap, 1dl tasting glass @ Kaapse Brouwers 1st Anniversary Beer Festival 2015, Rotterdam. Body is opalescent yellow, head is small, white, creamy, mostly diminishing, fair lacing. Nose is fruity, flavor is tropical fruits, soap, orange peel. Medium sweet, light bitter. Finish is medium lasting hoppy bittersweet. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Easy, refreshing, tasty IPA.

Tap at Kaapse festival. Hazy golden with small white head. Mango, orange, lime peel. Mostly very fruity with light dank weeds and some yeast. Medium sweet malty backbone with medium bitterness. Medium bodied with slight sticky feel. Great.

Keg at the Craft beer co Covent garden first birthday. Translucent golden orange coloured pour with a lasting white head. Classic kernel. Aroma is lovely, peach Melba, tropical fruit, orange peel, five alive fruit juice. Flavour is composed of base grains, tropical fruit salad, mixed peach and lychee. Palate is medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Lovely beer.

tap at the Beer Co in Bricknel, London, England January 2014 Pours lightly cloudy orange hue with a small white head. Nose is C hops all the way! Huge citrus and grapefruit notes. just plain awesome! Big grapefruit and Pineapple notes. flavors are huge citrus grapefruit pineapple and lots of pine. Massive resinous and dry gin like finish. this is fantastic! Unbelievably drinkable brew. huge finish that lasts for minutes after the sip. one of the best ipas i have ever had!
