Backlog rating. Keg at the brewery tap room, London. It pours a hazy light golden color with a small white head. Aroma is hoppy with grassy, grapefruity, citrusy notes. Taste is medium bitter, lightly sweet and fruity, with light tanginess in the finish. Quite dry with bread dough and citrus peel. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Overall, refreshing IPA

Poised bitter finish. What’s not to like here ? Deeply delicious offering from one of the finest creators of IPAs on planet beer.

Pale light hazed golden, decent intent of a white head and soft lacing. Lovely sherbet pine, soft peach and strong lychee nose with a fluff of sponge cake malt as it warmed. Initial taste is terrific, buzzing pine and brave guava with an odd mint cooling middle. Only vibrant mouthful, pinging carbonation and this is over three months old. Sneaks of light malt and an almost Brett dryness towards the finish. Big lychee and fading white grapefruit linger. Very decent especially for the age on this compared to other efforts. Will need to pop into Drink monger a bit more frequently.

330ml. Diaphanous and greenish with a disc of white mousse. Aroma of zest and botanicals with fresh pestled juniper, pine resin, lime, blackcurrant and soft perfumed tropical fruits. Taste crisp and fresh with juniper, curry leaf, pink grapefruit, passion fruit and biscuit dunked Darjeeling suggestions. Rich hallucinatory burps evocative of the yellow pollen of homegrown Fuggles. Fucking beautiful.

Wonderful fruity aroma. The taste does not feel nearly as good. Empty fruity flavor. The taste does not feel good at all. The aftertaste has a fine bitterness that fills the upper part of the mouth for a long time. Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.
