3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
A low lightly tanned head, covering a cloudy dark brown body. Nice tropical-fryity hop nose. Superfruity hop flavor. Mild tones of ’’black’’ flavors. Medium bitterness. Fruity hops linger in the finish. Elegant and moreish.

Bottle at Bottle Shop Canterbury. Ok I had kinda fallen out of love with black ipas. This is pretty good. Good solid but not over roasted malts and the hops shine through at the end.

Sampled at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2012. Pours a muddy and brown beer with a weak offwhite head. The aroma is malt and hops with citrus, grapefruit and peach. The flavor follows the nose. The palate is bitterness. Overall a good beer.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
One of several beers I bought at the bottle shop in Canterbury but only found time to drink by the time I got to Scotland. I strange looking beer. Very cloudy and almost looks like chocolate milk. Has the citrus character of an IPA, but with an added malted sweetness, almost sour sweetness. Drank it with Dave B. once I’d arrived in Edinburgh.

(300ml bottle) Courtesy of Jeff, picked it up from London. Nose is pure Centennial hops with a good malt base. Great body, fruity piney and resin. Very enjoyable.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
(Bottle) Pours muddy gray brown with a nougat coloured head. The aroma holds grapefruity juice and peppery lime peel up front with undertones of dark bread, salmiak, roasted cookies, asphalt, passion fruit, mango, melon, pine, black currant tea and nectar. Juicy nose. The flavour is near dry, medium to heavily bitter and light to medium acidic with green citrus, salt liquorice, dark earthy bread and roasted cookies. The mouthfeel is juicy and astringent with a light carbonation. Lingering grapefruity finish. Near medium bodied.
