Bottle. Pours a hazy dark brown color with a latte colour head. Pine needles and dark chocolate notes in aroma. Taste is perfectly balanced with notes of dark chocolate, licorice and citrus.

Flaska från SB. Ser ut som en stout men doftar massor av citrus och ananas. Det finns även en snutta krusbär i aromen. Lätt bränd smak som sedan ersätts av en härligt fruktig smak med bra drag i humlebeskan. Bra.

Bottle from beermerchants.com. Aroma is sweet and has notes of grass-like hops. Pours dark brown with a rich beige head. Taste is hoppy and has a easy pleasant body and is overall very fresh. The beer is very drinkable and fresh. Overall a pleasant beer. It dosen’t look very inviting but does deliver taste-wise.

330ml brown bottle with a minimalistic but informative label design. Rated 6.7% ABV bottled on 23.07.14, poured into a Tulip glass. Appearance is opaque dark nearly black brown with a medium sized frothy tan head, with good retention that when reduced left lacing on the glass. Aroma of grapefruit, pine and malts. Flavours of grapefruit, caramel, orange peels, dark bread and a hint of chocolate. Taste is light sweet and medium bitter. Palate is medium bodied, somewhat slick texture and average carbonation. Overall a great Black IPA, maybe slightly too sweet.

Fresh lime, grapefruit, and citrus aroma. Unripe currants too. Sweet taste of brown sugar and caramel, paired with grapefruit notes. Strange, as most black IPAs.

good beige head, soft-looking head crown also stays for a good time on the beer, clear black colour, some sweetness and mangoes in the aroma (I also think I found some blackcurrants when I opened the bottle but couldnt find the same aroma afterwards), nicely hopped and the dark roasted malts are complementing the beer in a great way, a well balanced mouthfeel, one of my favourite beers so far, I poured the sediments from the bottle to the glass when I topped it, didnt make the beer any worse
