@Nedre Mölla 15/2-2014. Flaska från Mikkeller Bottle Shop, Köpenhamn. Fruktig, citrus, grape, rostad malt & medelbeska. Ganska lång avslutning. En mycket god Black IPA helt enkelt.

2013 version 6.5% abv, pours almost black with a small bubbly tan head. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, with dry citrus hop and a bit of pepper. Finish is long and bitter with roasted malt aftertaste. Carbonation is lively.

Bottle from the Kernel Brewery. Poured a hazy, dark ruby colour with a large beige head. Strong aroma of cocoa, treacle and citrus hop. Full flavours with notes of dark fruit, grapefruit, dark chocolate and roast malt. Finished was balanced coffee, tropical fruit and caramel. Excellent stuff.

6.5% bottle from Coppers, Newcastle. A black beer that pours with a large creamy head. It has rich orange marmalade and juicy fruit flavours, berries, chocolate, pine and roasted notes on the finish. Superb!

On tap at Biercab. Black colour with tan head. Roasted and hoppy aroma. Roasted and hoppy taste, some chocolate, bitter. Medium body.

[10/5/13] Draught at the brewery in London. 6.5%. Dark brown to black with tan head. Aroma with roastiness and piney hops. Roasty flavor with a bit of chocolate, piney hops, citric notes and a bitter finish. Medium-bodied. Nice.

Bottle from the brewery. Pours dark brown with a small beige head. Nose is big on the citric hops with some moderate toast and light cocoa. Kind of earthy. Nice. Citric hops in great unison with balanced roast. Works well. Nice stuff
