3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Beer Moth, Manchester. Hazy amber pour with a small white head. Piney hop, citrus and sweet malt turned up in the beak. Plenty of juicy citrus and tropical fruits present in the flavour alongside some unfolding and gently potent hop bitterness. Some booze lurking in the shadows. Drank soft and smooth. Dry bitter finish. The Kernel still continue to churn out the quality as time ticks by.

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle @home. Pours golden with a v.thin white head. Hoppy, pine, resin and more than a hint of fruit on the nose, i fell in love with the nose. Orange to the fore on the taste, then the grapefruit heavy bitterness kicks in, ho-hum its another Kernel IPA that tastes just like another Kernel IPA.

4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
Color naranja, de una luminosidad turbia. Bonita espuma blanca de buena retención, que va desapareciendo poco a poco y deja encaje.
Aroma intenso y fresco a cítricos, principalmente pomelo y algo de pino.
Buen cuerpo, oleosa y bien carbonatada.
En boca entra fuerte y al mismo tiempo refrescante, haciendo presencia el lúpulo y el pomelo. Amarga y un tanto resinosa , con un regusto amargo prolongado.
Esta gente no falla. Otra IPA de libro.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Wow! A top beer from Kernel - where have they popped up from!?
This beer is something like you’d expect to find if you’d just walked along a palm edged street in California and stopped off at the nearest Tony Roma’s bar and grill...it really does ooze that Californian, west coast style. The taste is big on grapefruit and citrus, and oozes that great fruity bitterness.
Breweries like Kernel are so exciting for the UK craft brewing scene because they are offering us beers that we would only find the likes of in the USA and that’s a great thing in the current beer climate because the US breweries are really brewing superb stuff. Another killer beer, Kernal!
