Pours clear copper color with a small head. Aroma is hoppy and fruity with citrus and oranges, some caramel malts, some wooden notes too. Flavor is somewhat sweet with caramel malts, not that hoppy and some grassy notes also. Bitter palate, medium carbonation. Decent but nothing special.

Garrold (1332) - Sheffield, South Yorkshire, ENGLAND - FEB 5, 2014
Bottle from Beer Central, Sheffield. Cloudy, pale orange colour. Bright white, bubbly, lasting head. Steely, pithy, fresh grapefruit. Some orange squash. Taste is fresh sweetness. Pithiness throughout. Light sweetness on the palate, giving way to a grapefruit juice bitterness. Not the massive bosh I might have expected. But no less a beer for it...

McNeillR (1221) - SCOTLAND - FEB 3, 2014
Pale and murky golden, decent enough white capped head fades slowly. Refresher bar sherbert nose, not terribly juicy and fairly straightforward mangoey peachness. Crisp lemon, fairly pithy tang throughout but a bit of a let down bitterness - an odd dried blood/minerally glint on the finish. Creamy malt frame throughout trumps a moderate enough carbonation. Linger is clean, simple, solid Kernel dryness. Not a massive hop punch.
