Bottled 27/02/13. An orange coloured beer with an off-white pool of head. Typical sharp Kernel hoppiness throughout. Tropical fruits. Not the freshest so the malts are sweetening. Flavoursome strong and long.

Svesse (6163) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - JUN 7, 2012
(Bottle) Golden amber colour with huge, frothy, off-white head, leaving traces of lacing. Fruity, hoppy nose with apricots, tropical fruit, passion-fruit, slightly grainy malt and floral hops. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of apricots, tropical fruit, citrus peel and generous doses of floral/citric hops in a finish with a fairly balanced (with Kernel measures) bitterness. Medium body, with a balanced sweetness. Nice one.

erickok (3631) - Tours (and Paris), FRANCE - APR 20, 2012
Quite a foamy beer, orangy coloured and rocky white bubbly head. Very fresh nose, herbal, pineapple and flowery even. But also some toffee, darker tones. After a somewhat nondescript start a proper bitterness kicks in. Foamy mouth feel, which is something I didn’t expect. Don’t get the alcohol much; maybe a bit too thin to carry all those hops. Well developed dry end. Decent but they do better IPAs. (33cl bottle, traded with Leighton; thanks!)

Dense nose - very ’compact’. Grapefruit and caramel are the main offenders. Big bitterness and solid body. Long finish. A bit of pineapple and honey in the finish. Good more than solid stuff. Cheers Tim and Nate!
