Bottle at home. Pours clear golden with a nice little creamy head. Aroma character is quite full of pine and a buttery flower thing. Body is nicely balanced between the sweetness and bitterness. Taste is pine pits, grass, some herbal touch as well. Drinking it after the short BBD wasn’t a good idea with this variety I guess. Still world class.

une IPA tout en rondeur et en fruit, qui allie gingembre, fruit, agrumes et minérlité. Une très belle bière de fin de soirée.

Bottle bought at Bierhalle Deconinck. Golden with a big lasting head, as always. Crisp, fresh, very exotic, centennial rocking the place. Grapefruit accompanied by a nice bitterness. Awesome as mostly.

Bottled. Pours deep golden with an average, lacing and off-white head. Aroma of citrus fruits, floral notes and caramel. Sweet flavor that ends up more dry and bitter. Medium bodied, oily texture and soft carbonation. A very nice IPA indeed. 🌟🌟🌟🌟

330 ml. bottle @ home. Procured from Caigny. Bottled on 04.02.2015 (BBF 04/06/2015). Not optimal – esp. not for a hoppy Kernel beer where I find that the yeast starts dominating very quickly – still a very good date considering that I purchased this in Belgium. Pours a rather hazy orange, creamy solid white head. Nose is rich touch sweetish & very rich dried apricot hops, touch passion fruit & exotic hops, some white bead base, very nice & very fruity. Taste is light bitter grass upfront, white bread & yeast play a bit part here, too much for me, the hop figures as exotic dried fruit, dried apricot, dominant, dried apricot, some passion fruit, light grass-like bitterness, yeast & white bread quality is upfront in an almost milky type of way, there is some light toffee / butterscotch sweetness to this. It seems like the yeast has already started to dominated a bit but this is still a rather pleasant beer. This is solid but would have been better for certain, younger, Kernel’s hoppy beers really need to be enjoyed as young as possible. Often I am astonished by them when I try them at a festival while a bottled variety from a store I largely find just satisfactory.
