Bottle from brewery. Colour is orange amber, touch of haze, bubbling on the glass within the beer and fresh fluffy white bubbly head. Nose is very fruity. Lots of citrous, grapefruit, sticky orange, then mango and sugary pineapple. It’s sticky fruity, citrus smelling. Taste is earthy, flinty minerally, citrous bitter, grapefruit. Not so much of the tropical aromas. Touch of cut grass, pine and caramel.

Bottled. Almost clear golden color, short off-white head. Huge hoppy aroma, citrus, grassy, some malt. Firm bitter taste. Clean american style IPA. Really strong in bitterness, almost astringent, backed up with some maltiness. Bitterness lingers on in the finish. It’s very one-dimensional, but it is pretty perfect for what it is. Classic IPA.

330ml bottle. Hazy orange golden colour, foamy white head leaving some lacing and aroma of pine resin, lemony flowery citrus & pineapple. Taste is floral tropical fruits, pine, lemony citrus balanced against a smooth malt caramel backbone and a lingering dry spicy earthy bitterness. Creamy mouth feel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry finish. Very drinkable IPA.

Bottle, 7.2% abv. Pours clear orange with a small to medium white head leaving nice lacing. Aroma is grapefruit, mango and other tropical fruits with some caramel malt as well. Taste is also a lot of tropical fruit with a nice medium bitter finish. Medium body with a soft to medium carbonation. Another great and easy drinkable IPA from the Kernel, although it would be even better with a bit more carbo.

TET (1659) - FINLAND - MAY 25, 2013
A cloudy, orange colour, a head is quite weak and blond. Aroma of tropical fruits, mangos, grapefruits, balanced fructose and some pine. Taste of fruits, grapefruits, pine, medium bitterness, but still enjoyable, balanced sweetness. Gently poured, but still too much yeast, that decrease the freshness. In the aftertaste there are nice and long lasting pine. Medium bodied, mild carbonation, easy to enjoy. Good, but not top IPA, tropical fruits with pine.
