Ambarina, turbia, con algo de sedimento. Buena espuma blanca que aunque tiende a desaparecer deja mancha. Aromas cítricos y a pino. Cuerpo medio y moderada carbonatación. En boca pino, hierba, cítricos y amargor floral. Regusto amargo y alcohol bien integrado. Con el frescor característico de las cervezas de The Kernel.

Hazy straw IPA with a thin head. Hoppy aroma and flavour is strong hop and a citric edge. Too strong for how nice it is!

Bottle from the brewery. Pours a cloudy, matte gold with a billowing, white head. Strong hop aroma with pine, citrus and some mild caramel malts. Lightly sweet flavor to start with honey and caramel, then pronounced bitterness takes hold with notes of orange juice, pine sap, earth and citrus zest. Medium bodied with average carbonation and light resin. Doesn’t have that enamel-ripping hop bite, which is kind of nice. Finishes mostly bitter with nice earth and citrus, along with light malty sugar. Excellent IPA.

Countbeer (4752) - Best of E-Town mit ein Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - MAR 18, 2013
Bottle: 7.2%ABV. Medium sized, bit airy on top and vast beneath, slowly changing, creamy foamy head on top of a murky yellow orange colored beer. Aromas of crispy fruit tones like peach, apricot, moss, earth, red fruit like strawberry, mushroom, some creamy herbs and vanilla. Flavours of peach, cream, apricot, mango, pine apple, some grapefruit, some hop bitters, some malty chalk, hint of floral, crispy fruit with a light bitter tone. Sorry don’ t wanna write more because it just damn tasty! Aftertaste is more bitter than in the taste itself with a good fruit and floral tone. Very nice. Low carbo, soft almost silky mouthfeel, very good medium to lightly fuller body and a creamy texture. Balanced and damn tasty. The interesting thing is, the hops are not really to be tasted, it’s good (hop) fruity at the start and floral fruity at the end. Thank you Kernel brewery!

Bottle from beermerchants.com. Flowery hops in the nose, the flavour is full of subtle spices - nutmeg, mint, white pepper, rose petals and peaches. Gentle bitterness giving a fine balance, gliding over in a subtle sourness in the tail. Superb craftsmanship.

Super fresh bottle, consumed at the Euston Tap. The pour’s a slightly hazy medium amber color with a small white head. The aroma’s huge citrus fruit salad. Loads of grapefruit, general citrus. Sweet bubble gum, a bit of pine. The taste is bright citrus fruits. Wonderfully expressive, fresh flavors. Lemon peel, grapefruit. Nice, woody hoppiness on the finish. Effervescent palate. Not too chalky or dry. This drinks superbly easy for a 7% beer. Overall, this is Kernel at its best. Bold, irresistible flavors.

keg@Catford Bridge Tavern - 7.3% abv version - Pours a fuzzy/hazy orange/gold in colour. Aroma and taste is a boozy citrus tropical explosion of juicy grapefruit, orange, lemon and subtle pine. Lovely mouthfeel and sweet intro to bitter boozy finish. Awesome drink this but too many makes you want to impersonate rockhopper penguins when you disembark the 202 bus on the way home :-)
