Scopey (7183) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 8, 2013
Bottle at Kernel. It pours hazy amber with a medium head. The nose is barnyard, orange, tangerine, apricot, sherbet and pine. The taste is pine, earth, resin, grass, pithy citrus, orange, grapefruit and a touch of sherbet with a dry, bitter finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Tasty IPA.

Hermod (3414) - Vantaa, FINLAND - JUN 7, 2013
33cl bottle, bottled on 15/4/2013. Hazy orange, thick creamy white head. Tropical fruity, hoppy aroma, floral and earthy notes. Flavor has pine, floral notes, tropical fruits, like pineapple, giving it some light sweetness before the bitter grapefruity bitterness kicks in. Fresh, great IPA once again from this brewery.

Kernel making a decent IPA...who’d a thought it, eh? If you take the initials of this beer you get The Kipacans which is all you need to know really.

maneliquor (3206) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - JUN 1, 2013
Bottle from Craft Beer Co. Pours cloudy orange with a small, dense white head leaving good lacing. Nose shows musky fruit driven hops - a little weedy. Herbal and tropical is probably the best way to describe it. Musky weedy taste to it. Light caramel and herbal tones with some sticky/resinous apricot. Unusual mix of hops. Doesn’t work come together according to my taste buds bu still works in a not too shabby manner. Not bad, I still like what they’ve done

Bottle, pours a very cloudy orange. Subtle but nice hoppy aroma. Nice IPA flavor with a bit too strong of a bitter aftertaste.

ACD (661) - Dublin, IRELAND - MAY 28, 2013
33cl bottle. Pours amber/orange with thin white head and plenty of lacing. Aroma is full of ripe tropical fruit, tangerine, dank hoppiness, grapefruit and some herbal earthiness. Taste gives juicy mango and tangerine alongside some fairly rough earthy, woody, herbal bitterness, pithy grapefruit and sticky pine resin. Only a light touch of sweet biscuity malt. Lingering herbal, pine and grapefruit flavours - pretty full-on bitterness. Medium mouthfeel, light natural carb. Tasty, but a bit rougher than many of the other Kernel IPAs I've had.
