Bottle at home in London - picked up at the brewery. Pours mostly clear (scandalous!) gold, lightly effervescent, with a creamy, off-white head. Nose holds sticky pine, some onions and garlic, a bit of dry orange. Light to medium sweet flavor with balanced bitterness, some grass, juicy pine, orange rind, subtle earth tones. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly warming to finish with a healthy dose of resinous pine, some ripe and sticky citrus fruits, a bit of grass, mild dryness. Decent IPA though not a standout among the standard Kernel output.

Theydon_Bois (16873) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - MAY 17, 2013
Bottle at home, from the brewery, @6.8% 17/05/13. Hazed golden amber with a thin off white head that clears to a film and bubbles. Nose is hops, light pine, orange pith, grapefruit, candyfloss. Taste comprises orange sherbet, grapefruit, earthy hops, light mineral notes, caramel, juicy mango. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, hop bitteress in the dryish finish. Decent IPA but not my favourite from Kernel.

330ml bottle courtesy of mr_h. Muddy amber brown, not much head, lot of sediment. Pine hop aroma. Biscuit grapefruit hop flavour. Very smooth with sweet hoppy aftertaste. Very nice typical Kernel IPA.

MannyGoldberg (194) - The big bad LDN, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 11, 2013
Bottle 11th May 2013. Less hazy that most Kernels. Nelson is quite dominant in the flavour profile. Sharp gooseberry notes. Bit of a departure for these chaps but not feeling this as much as recent output. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
