Keg at StormBird. 16/12/2012. I'm a bit cautious of Citra as it tends to be so overpowering. This is much more balanced that lots of others though. Up to the usual high Kernel standards. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

330ml bottle as citra Chinook - 6.9%. Hazy amber pour with thin white head. Aroma is really fruity. Lots of citrus - grapefruit, orange and lemon. Zingy hoppiness too. Taste is more of the same. Just so nice and fruity. So easy to drink and you’d never guess 6.9%.

On tap at the brewery. Pours hazy golden with a big head. Aroma of this beer is fantastic, burst of clean citrusy hops. Beer is quite dry with a bitter finish. Vvery good IPA from Kernel.

6.9% ABV "IPA Chinook Citra" from Coppers, Newcastle. This is a cloudy golden beer with a sharp citrus, tropical fruit and orange flavour followed by an earthy, peppery hop and a warming orange blossom finish. Another great Kernel beer. Bottle Conditioned.

Little hazy dark blond to orange beer, aery big off-white irregular head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: sweet ripe fruits, mango, passion fruits, grapefruit, citrus, some pineapple. MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Taste: very fruity, passion fruits, lychee, nice citric bitterness, soft caramel malts. Aftertaste: bitter, lots of citrus, sweet exotic fruits, little sour, some caramel malts, very fruity. Wow, really nice stuff!

</br> Clear pale orange beer, no head, glass filled to the rim. Oh, England... Aroma: fruity, citrus, little cheesy, smelly feet, melons, malty. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: citrus start, nice bitterness, bit cheesy, piny touch. Aftertaste: hay, grains, citrus, pretty bitter, dry, lemon peel, bit medicinal, not the best Kernel I’ve ever had. Which is weird, ’cause I’m a citra fan.
