Bottle @ Union Tavern. Slightly hazy light amber with an eggshell white head. Lovely vibrant nose. Huge shocks of mango, salted pine needle, dune grass. Grapefruit meat. Quite appealing. Classic Kernel shagginess. Plenty of mineral and chalk. Grapefruit and green shoots. The flavors do seem a touch muddled. Abrupt moderately bitter finish. Good, but not a top tier effort from the kernel.

Nocturne (1117) - Cheshire, ENGLAND - JUN 18, 2015
Keg at The Beagle, Chorlton. Hazy yellow. Short white head, bit of lacing. Notes of tropical fruits, zesty citrus, herbal, grassy. Moderate bitterness. Greatly balanced, superbly drinkable stuff as always. Can’t go wrong with a Kernel IPA.

jamestulloch (2031) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUN 8, 2015
Bottle from Cornelius. Hazy golden body with a thick off-white head. Low carbonation. Good lacing. Aroma is quite muted - notes of yeast, soft citrus and grated carrot. Flavour of lime, dusty malts, peach and grass. Bitter and hoppy. Medium body with a creamy mouthfeel. It’s good, but I was hoping for outstanding.
