Rubia, muy clarita y con buena espuma. Aroma muy tropical, intensísimo, y sutilmente a malta. Cuerpo medio, oleosa y bien carbonatada. En boca lima y limón, astringente. Cítrica, floral y lupulada. Final seco y duradero regusto amargo. Muy buena y fresca, como todas las de la casa. Embotellada: 05-02-2013. ABV:6,6 %

Bottle, shared by Leighton on the RBWG bus. Psyched to try these Kernel beers I have heard so much about. Lightly hazy orange with a small fizzy white head. Nose is citra, big citrus, lightly tropical, caramel malt balance. Flavor is similar, lots of fresh citrus, soft bitterness, fairly dry juicy finish. Tasty.

UPDATED: MAR 14, 2013 6.6 abv version bottled 5/2/13, 15 days old, very fresh citra hop, packed with flavour of grapefruit & pineapple citrus juiciness, quite bitter to finish, slick mouthfeel, low to medium carbonation, another very nice IPA from Kernel

17th Feb 2012- bottle at home. 6.6% vers bought direct from the brewery. This was bottled less than a fortnight ago (that's 2 weeks for any Americans reading) so mega fresh. Huge citrus explosion on the nose. Taste is very balanced without any of the astringency you get from lesser Citra based beers. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Stirchley Wines and Spirits, Birmingham. poured a cloudy orange colour with a very thin, off-white head and no lace. The carbonation is very low. The aroma is grassy and a little floral. The flavour is hoppy, zesty and the dry pepper hoppiness hits the palate right away. The smooth bitter aftertaste makes this a very diverse and refreshing ale that justifies its rating.

MoritzF (8676) - Bochum, GERMANY - DEC 31, 2012
(bottle, 33cl, 6.5% abv) Cloudy, orange-golden colour with a short and slightly off-white foamy head. Piney and slightly sweaty aroma with notes of citrus and pineapples, accompanied by a mildly malty background. Moderately bitter flavour, medium to light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Dry malty base with loads of citric and exotic hops, also slightly resiny towards the dry and moderately bitter finish. 17.XII.12
